Understudy went live, and started watching itself.

  • Domain registered, DNS cut over to the host, TLS certificate issued and verified from outside the network.
  • Waitlist tested end to end four times. Every field arrived intact.
  • Six production systems added to the live status check on the home page. All six answered.
  • Sending domain authenticated — DKIM, SPF and DMARC published and verified.
  • Two faults found and fixed before launch: the host had silently disabled form detection, and the sticky header was transparent on phones.
